Ian Rafferty is from Leeds in Yorkshire, England. He's married to Sheila and they have a son, Marcel.

Studied Graphics at Leeds Art College and Printmaking at Bradford Art College. From 1977 to '85 established the printmaking studio "The Spitting Image" in Leeds.

The painting "Making Tracks" was exhibited at Wakefield Art Gallery, in 1992.

Many of his paintings have been published as Edition prints, Posters and Greetings cards in Europe,the USA and Japan.

The published work was painted using traditional methods, whilst the digital artwork was done on an Apple Mac Computer using an A4 Wacom Graphics Tablet.
